I failed my driver test 5 times. You might be thinking “Wow. He must be a terrible driver.” the truth is I’m a very good driver. When I did pass I had a faultless exam, which my examiner told me was extremely rare.
Failure can shut you down or it can move you forward. If you see it as a statement of your worth there’s very little room for growth. If you see it as a measure of your work, it may sting but the outcome is still yours to master.
I’m glad that I failed my tests. Each one provided me an opportunity to become a better driver. Even the two where I felt the outcome was unfair. I couldn’t change the examiners only how I approached the test. Better that failure be a tool than a block.
