One of the biggest barriers to changing one’s behaviour is the feeling that the new behaviour “isn’t you”. Well the truth is that *it’s not*. At least not yet.
If you want to get different results you’re going to need to try different strategies and like learning any new skill these new behaviours are going to feel uncomfortable and wooden at first. Discomfort does not mean that something isn’t true to your being, its the natural state of learning. What feels “true” to you is not true, it’s simply comfortable.
If you want to make meaningful change you need to be willing to “act” differently. Know that who you are is defined not by the habits that you’ve collected but by how you *choose* to act.
