An amazing thing I have witnessed about creative people — they don’t limit the realms of their creation. I’ve loved watching interviews with Joss Whedon, Peter Jackson, Joni Mitchell, and many others where you hear about all the different projects they’re involved in from movies, to music, to writing, to business, essentially simultaneously. Now it’s easy to look at these successful individuals and think that they have great creative minds and the resources to pursue a lot of different projects, however that’s only a matter of scale. Your mind is certainly as capable of expansive thought as theirs. The only difference is whether you limit yourself or not.
